A short policy, because the site does very little.

Collected

Our host keeps ordinary server logs: IP address, browser string, the page requested and when. They exist to keep the site running and to identify abuse. Aggregate analytics tell us which pages get read; that information is not attached to a name.

An email to us is kept for as long as it takes to answer it, and then no longer.

Never done

We do not sell, rent or swap personal data. There are no advertising networks on this site, no reader profiles, and no sharing of what we collect with hotels or third parties, except where the law leaves us no choice.

Cookies and opting out

Cookies here are functional or aggregate-analytics only. Block or clear them in your browser and every page still works. To ask what we hold, or to have it erased, email editor@werennyfive.com and we will deal with it.
